W G “Poochie” Wade

W G “Poochie” Wade, 84, Tecumseh, OK, died Nov. 4, 2021, in Shawnee. He was born August 11, 1937, to Ebert and Opal (Capps) Wade in Wetumka, OK. Poochie was raised in Tecumseh and attended Tecumseh Public Schools. He lived most of his life in the Tecumseh area.

Judy Dianne Kinnamon, 82, died Aug. 27, 2021, in Palm Springs, CA, surrounded by family members. Judy was born on May 19, 1939, in Arkansas City, KS, and was the only child of Carroll Bruce Kemper and Lois Helene (Chadwell). A celebration of life service is scheduled for 2 pm, Nov.

Vickie Diane Beal

Vickie Diane Beal, 67, of Tecumseh, OK, died Nov. 14, 2021, in Shawnee. She was born Jan. 16, 1954, to George and Eula (Harper) Beal in Shawnee, OK. Vickie was raised in Tecumseh. She was a 1972 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

Edward Lee Smith

Edward Lee Smith, 76, of Macomb, OK, died Aug. 29, 2021, in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born March 25, 1945, in Shawnee, OK, to Edward and Wanda Lee (Reed) Smith. Edward grew up in Oklahoma and lived many different places while in the military. He has been a Macomb resident for 34 years.

Roy Hawkins

Roy Dean Hawkins died peacefully Nov. 10, 2021, at his home in Shawnee, OK. Roy was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Parks, AR. He served in the United States Air Force from 1960-1964 and in the Reserves for 2 years. The funeral service was held Nov. 13, 2021 with a graveside service Nov. 15.

Mary Ann Romberg

Mary Ann Romberg died Nov. 10, 2021. She was born Feb. 14, 1935, in Prague, OK, to Joe and Mae Bell. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Rock Creek Baptist Church. The funeral service was held Nov. 16, at Rock Creek Baptist Church in Shawnee.

Kitty (Harris) McAfee, 78, of McLoud, died Nov. 10, 2021, at her home. She was born Sept. 8, 1943 in Muskogee, OK, to Cecil and Suzie (Duncan) Harris. Services were set for Nov. 17, 2021, in Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery. Rev. Larry Sparks officiated.

Ruby Eloise (Bruno) Withrow

Ruby Eloise (Bruno) Withrow, 87, of Shawnee, died Nov. 14, 2021, in a local hospital. She was born April 10, 1934, in Concho, OK, to Johnny B. and Beatrice (Casteel) Bruno. Services have been set for Nov. 19, 2021, at 10 am in Walker Funeral Service Chapel.

Danny Kuhl Smith

Danny Kuhl Smith, 80, of Norman, OK, died Nov. 2, 2021, at his home. He was born Oct. 4, 1941, to Elmer Neal and Emily Grace (Acklin) Smith in Canton, MS. Danny attended Bradford High School in Bradford, AR, before enlisting in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1962. During this time he served in Korea.
