Richard A. “Rick” Reeves

Richard A. “Rick” Reeves, 58, lifelong Tecumseh resident, died March 5, 2022. He was born Sept. 3, 1963, to Dale and Loudene (Kepler) Pope in Shawnee, OK. He was later adopted by Robert Reeves, Sr. in 1973. He graduated with the class of 1981 from Tecumseh High School.

Sibyle G. Cundiff

Former Shawnee resident Sibyle G. Cundiff, 102, died Feb. 21, 2022, in Woodland Park, CO. Sibyle was born Jan. 22, 1920, on a farm near Dale, OK, to John and Geneva Miles. Services were March 5, 2022, at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Mark Wright officiating.

Mickey Donald Hill

Mickey Donald Hill, 64, died March 4, 2022, after a two-year battle with cancer. He was born to Mary Elizabeth Reece, and Gerald Thomas Hill, June 26, 1957, in Oklahoma City, OK. Mickey’s celebration of life will be held 1 pm, March 12, 2022, at Sharon Baptist Church, Shawnee, OK.

John William Murphy

John William Murphy died Feb. 27, 2022. John was born July 8, 1953 in Lancaster, KY, to Carl and Thelma (Vice) Murphy. He was in the Air Force as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Technician. John then retired from the Air Force as a Tech Sergeant in 1992.

Doris Faye Lyon

Doris Faye Lyon, 74, a longtime resident of Tecumseh, OK, died peacefully at her home, with her husband of 55 years by her side, March 1, 2022. Doris was born Sept. 2, 1947 ,in Prague, OK, to Ralph and Oleta (Thompson) Montgomery. Doris married Paul Lyon on June 25, 1966, in Shawnee, OK.

Martha Ellen (Lilley) Hinkle

Martha Ellen (Lilley) Hinkle, 67, of Tecumseh, OK, died Feb. 18, 2022. Born Aug. 1, 1954, in Wichita Falls, TX, Martha was the youngest child of John Vincent Lilley and Nancy Melba (Clark) Lilley. She grew up on the family farm in Burkburnett, TX.

Ronda Lou Hall

Ronda Hall died Feb. 21, 2021, after many years of Parkinson’s Disease, scoliosis, and a fall in 2015. She was born in Attalla, Alabama, on Oct. 30, 1946, a daughter of John Louie and Mary Frances (Baughn) Guest. A memorial service was March 1, 2:30 pm, at University Baptist Church, Shawnee, OK.
